Japan, as a volcanically active country, has thousands of onsen throughout its archipelago. People used onsen as public bathing place in old days, and now it plays important role in directing Japanese domestic tourism. Onsen relaxes and heals Japanese people (and monkeys in some region!) with its heat and mineral rich content water.

Onsen is getting popular to foreigners as well in recent years.
If you have any chance to come to Japan, try onsen, the Japanese best-loved tradition.
